I have always had a passion for people and fun projects. Working hard for something I believe in is definitely one of my passion projects. When I’m not engaging with streaming, audio and people, I’m gardening and tending to chickens and my two kids.

Guilty

Guilty is an investigative podcast created by the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet. The podcast tells the tragic story of Samir, who was convicted of the murder of his stepmother at the age of 15. Initially confessing to the crime, Samir later retracted his statement.

In Guilty, Samir’s case is examined anew and individuals close to the family are interviewed, inviting listeners on a journey to discover whether Samir is truly innocent.

At Podster, we were instantly drawn to Guilty, even though it was evident that this production would demand extensive effort to replicate its success beyond Sweden, considering the substantial dubbing and reenactment work involved.

Luckily, we had the opportunity to work with the award-winning Dutch podcast production company Airborne. They took on a huge role in adapting the scripts and production for an international audience, which resulted in condensing the original 16 episodes into a more accessible 12-episode format.

DPG Media has already released the first six episodes of the adapted ‘Guilty’ in the Netherlands, with the remaining episodes slated for an autumn release. Two episodes are available on the RSS feed, while the full series is exclusively accessible to Algemeen Dagblad subscribers.

The Interrogation Room

The Interrogation Room originates from Sweden and is created by Novel Studios. The podcast recreates authentic police interrogations word by word with the help of talented actors. Podster has adapted The Interrogation Room to both Finnish and Danish.

In Finland, the show is distributed by Sanoma Media, the country’s largest media company. The Finnish rendition of The Interrogation Room is exclusively accessible to Supla subscribers, Sanoma Media Finland’s proprietary streaming service.

During the summer of 2023, we introduced the Danish edition of The Interrogation Room on the RSS feed in collaboration with Acast, a prominent podcast marketplace. The initial release was a success, prompting the launch of a highly anticipated second season.
